about to change my brake pads for the first time since i got the car.. any tips? is a c clamp necessary?

c-clamp no, you do need a one of those blue, big pliers things tho. and some tube and brake fluid to bleed your breaks.

OEM brake pads ranges from brand but usually should be around 40-50 for Toyota, Honda and others. Just call your local dealer. If you do it in the shops probably around 139.99-159.99 like I said it depends where you go and get it done. What kind of car you got?

i just did a rav4 on saturday. new Japanese OEM quality front pads and rotors. $120.
